Shakib shares the example of Kjell & Company, one of Scandinavia’s leading suppliers of consumer electronics. The Swedish retailer is using a next-generation solution from Bambuser and Ombori called Omni-queue. The Omni-queue is built on top of the Ombori Grid, and it allows store employees to seamlessly handle both physical and online customers within the same queue.
Bambuser’s One-to-One solution warrants live video shopping customers the same level of technical expertise and highly personalized service they would receive in the physical stores. Besides creating efficient use of staff resources, the one-to-one live stream video also offers knowledge matching so customers can easily be switched to an online specialist in a different location. Since this type of service was previously not possible in the physical stores, it now significantly impacts the customer experience transformation. This is the future of retail.
